In a twist many few expected, we are going to get back-to-back weeks of blogging. You’re probably thinking to yourself “Eddie, is this really a good idea? I mean your place of work is in a bit of turmoil as high-level employees have been let go requiring you to help pick up the slack and work more. Is blogging for your fantasy football league really a good use of your time?” And to that internal question in someone’s head I say fuck you I’m writing the blog. The blog is my outlet. Don’t get me wrong, it’s extremely cumbersome most of the time but I do take a lot of pride in the finished product and getting a few “HaHa”s from the boys is always worth it.
Week 8 Riffcap
(Instead of Recap in which I will just riff and rattle off thoughts about the past week’s matchups)
- TBB vs. FFT: Saquon looks good; TBB have found another stud TE in Gadsden; Chase Brown also may be back; I’ll see you in Valhalla Rachaad, it was a fun ride; Watching MNF and having every player be on Eric’s team was extremely scary and nerve-wracking; Drake Maye is pretty good; Deebo fucking stinks; I love Rashee Rice (bad guy though)
- Sad Dads vs. TPSK: Herbert is good and he’s cute and his gf is hot; Javonte year continues; JT is CRACKED; QJ is back to reality; CJ Stroud back? (theme of players being back it appears); Cam Skattebo not back, it was his ankle actually; Boutte is apparently not Boutte
- TVB vs. Funkles: Dak is ass; Vidal RB1; RJ Harvey may not be useless; Tucker Kraft is unreal (former Batgirl – TE U); Jordan Mason has to be devastated Aaron Jones is back, he joins AJ Dillon
- TCs vs. ZYN: Hurts v good performance; Dobbins v good performance; Bill Croskey may not be a league winner; Ben started four TEs (that fucking rocks kinda); Worst season in super league history continues; Dillon Gabriel being ZYN’s QB is very fitting
- NIM vs. CTB: Baker Bad; Kamara has been terrible; Breece COOKED; Ladd looking sharp; Mahomes was ass but still so good; James Cook is fucking cracked this year; 0 pts on TE day for Ferguson not good probably too busy thinking about his Cavinder twin

The 2025 Zyn Cup – QF Recap & SF Preview
Quarterfinal Recap
- Choking the Belichicken vs. The Funky Uncles: CTB had the toughest QF matchup as the Funkles put up quite a battle. In the end, Mahomes MNF performance was enough to keep CTB in the lead and on to the Semi-Finals in team history.
- The Bitchin’ Batgirls vs. Nine Inch Males: NIM put a solid effort in but TBB was just too much to handle and move on the Semis.
- ZYN Dynasty vs. The Fantasy Football Team: Lol come on.
- Sad Dads vs. Transgender Cigs: The TCs continue to be a mixed bag and get handily beaten by the Sad Dads.
Semi-Final Preview
- Choking the Belichicken vs. The Fantasy Football Team: Without really diving into the two weeks for these teams, I can confidently say that the hottest team in the Super League should be able to take care of business over the two legs. They will be without Mahomes, Worthy, Ferguson for the 2nd leg but should be able to put up enough in the first leg to keep them safe. CTB use a monster week 9 to put themselves in the ZYN Cup Final. What a year for CTB this could be.
- The Bitchin’ Batgirls vs. Sad Dads: This should be a banger. The Sad Dads will be missing some key performers in Week 10 as the Cowboys are on a bye while TBB will be missing Saquon in leg 1. TBB has a significant advantage in the 2nd leg as all of their key pieces will either be past their bye or it coming in the distant future. Over the two legs, TBB should just be simply too much to handle for the Sad Dads.

Week 9 Preview & Picks
vs. 
CTB get a welcomed bye week and a guaranteed win. CTB in the least shocking result you could ever imagine. (I said the same thing last week and the 7 weeks prior to that).
vs. 
The first ever battle of the brothers between the Dasch’s. NIM are without a QB while FFT showed some signs of life last week. FFT get the win and continue to muddy the waters in the purgatory that is spots 5 thru 8.
vs. 
TPSK have fallen back to reality after a promising few weeks. The injury to Skattebo spells trouble and we will likely see them continue to fall over the next 6 weeks. Funkles roll.
vs. 
The Cigs sit at 8-8 and need to get results in order to preserve their playoff hopes. The Sad Dads continue to roll and are looking strong heading into this matchup. It should be a close battle but Sad Dads are going to simply be too much to handle.
GAME OF THE WEEK
vs. 
TVB are currently projected to win this matchup… There’s not much more to say about it. They have some serious hitters but also some absolute dud starts. Are they going to be able to pull off the upset? If Lamar is out again & Puka is limited, I think they just might. TVB get a win.
