Boys. It’s been a tough year for blogging. I kind of expected this to happen but I really thought I’d be able to sustain some type of blogging even if it was a small amount. Unfortunately, work has become increasingly challenging and the time for blogging has just not been there. I blame work but it’s also my son’s fault. He doesn’t have a job. Can’t use the bathroom on his own. And don’t even get me started on having to feed him. Like grow the fuck up dude and hold the bottle. Anyway, all of these factors have led to this disappointing situation. The good thing for me is the fact that maybe like 3 of you even care to read these so there really hasn’t been much missing for a majority of our league mates. I’m not going to promise these are going to become more consistent, but I would never miss the mid-season blog. Plus, the ZYN Cup is in full swing, and I love me some dumb made-up bullshit.

Work got busy can’t talk about where we stand maybe next week sorry love you.
Editor’s Note: Make Ben Happy Section
Ben is a temperamental little boy who gets upset that I refuse to talk about his dog shit team. The same dog shit team that went 23-5 in his first season and has proceeded to finish progressively worse each year after to the point that this year he will undoubtedly finish 0-28. This I am confident of. However, Ben needs his props, so I am going to give him that. Here is my ranking of ZYN Dynasty’s transactions over the years:

Alright. I stand corrected. He has gotten better at trading BUT I can’t excuse some of his absolute WHIFFS. The Davante Adams trade in 2022 is absolutely fucking horrible. One of the worst judgements of value I’ve ever seen. And the only reason I blast the trade AWAY of Chase is he gave up 4 1sts to get him but then only got 3 back and gave away two other people who separately may have netted him another 1st or a few 2nds. Some very good recent wins however with the trade away of Mike Williams (locker room cancer) and the haul received for Josh Allen.

The 2025 Zyn Cup – Round 1 Recap & QF Preview

Round 1 games were two blowouts so who even cares.
Quarterfinal Matchups – Winners go to the Semi-Final Draw [Two Leg Matchups]
- Choking the Belichicken vs. The Funky Uncles: CTB are fucking HOT right now and I don’t see that train stopping.
- The Bitchin’ Batgirls vs. Nine Inch Males: TBB are in a bit of a tailspin and very much need a 3-win week. NIM’s record does not do them justice, however TBB should be a little too much to handle.
- ZYN Dynasty vs. The Fantasy Football Team: FFT win their first ever ZYN Cup matchup and move on to the Semis.
- Sad Dads vs. Transgender Cigs: The best matchup of the Quarterfinals sees the league-leading Sad Dads take on the up-and-down Cigs. Cigs are without Jayden Daniels but now have fucking Jalen Hurts as their back-up. I just changed my mind on my pick because the Cigs are flexing fuckin Kyle Pitts..
Stats & Info as of Week 7 – Mid-Season Comparison
FFT was not eligible for this comparison since this is their inaugural year in the league. TPSK & CTB are the only teams to improve in all three categories. TBB is the only team who is in the exact same position as last year. NIM & ZYN Dynasty have regressed in all three categories to the shock of absolutely no one.

Scoring Stats

Mid-Season Inconsequential Awards

Manager of the Mid-Year: The second worst team in Super League History entering the year has come into 2025 on a heater. They have 4 more total wins than they did ALL of last year and have as many median wins as the last two years combined. Impressive management and a clear contender for the rest of the year.

GM of the Mid-Year: Incredible draft choices have seen them make an unexpected playoff push. However, this could easily turn south if they try and be overly aggressive.

Rookie of the Mid-Year: TPSK have had some serious hits this year and Egbuka is easily the best so far.

Hot Seat of the Mid-Year: This is the second year in a row a team who was dominant the previous year sits on the hot seat. Just atrocious roster management has seen an unexpected fall from grace.
Week 8 Preview & Picks
vs.
Trans Cigs get a much needed bye week and a guaranteed win. TCs in the least shocking result you could ever imagine.
vs.
FFT have fallen apart recently and traded away Jalen Hurts because they had a few bad weeks. I stopped writing blogs and they just lost their mind. TBB is struggling but FFT doesn’t even give a fuck anymore. TBB in a huge get back game.
vs.
CTB are legit and here to stay. NIM has some fight in them but it’s an uphill battle that I’m just not sure they’ll be able to handle. CTB keep it rolling.
vs.
TVB are not very good but they are also not bad. They are just existing in a very weird space and the Funkles are going to struggle against them. TVB keep their weird season going and may start looking towards a playoff push.
vs.
The only matchup between current playoff teams this week as top dog Sad Dads takes on the suprising darling of 2025 in the Short Kings. The Short Kings season has been an incredible story, but the Sad Dads don’t give a fuck about a feel good story and beat them despite QJ’s TNF goose egg.
GAME OF THE WEEK

These matchups are all fucking ass.
I’m sorry guys. I love writing these so it PAINS me not being able to produce these like I used to. Blame my son. And my job. I LOVE you all!
Love,
Your Beloved Commissioner
