An absolutely enthralling week of fantasy football. Our highest scoring week, two incredible down to the wire matchup’s, and a back door median win. The playoff push continues as we now only have 6 regular season weeks left. And with the trade deadline passing in the NFL & the Super League deadline looming (Week 11), we’re going to learn a lot over the next few weeks.
Free Deshaun Continues To Whip It Out
Well this was rather fucking boring. If I had used my brain on Thursday night I would have plugged in Duvernay which wouldn’t have done anything but it would have been cool. However, there are silver linings for TBB. 1) Justin Fields may be a fucking guy. 2) Isaiah Likely is an elite TE handcuff. & 3) Did I mention how good Isaiah Likely is?? Let’s not talk too much about the disaster that is TBB. Free Deshaun continues its’ dominant stranglehold on the league as they cruised to their 5th straight overall win. They’re now 7-1 against the median (and squeaked out that 7th win thanks to a late TD from Chubb) and lead the league in scoring. I still have the belief that they are one injury away from being fucked but as currently constructed they are very clearly the best team in the league. I completely blame myself for this. Ranking them 9th in my preseason rankings clearly gave the boys bulletin board material. Ben has these guys playing some angry fantasy football and that is extremely unfortunate for the rest of the Super League.
The Monday Night Medianless Mid-Off
Don’t get me wrong, there was an extremely exciting matchup for someone who is addicted to staring at Sleeper during a miserable MNF game. Couldn’t be me. Moving on, before the game started, Sad Dads held a very tight lead of 138.44 to TPSK 132.65. Their projections were only 1.43 points apart. Exciting stuff. By 10:30 pm, the projections and score had shifted to Sad Dads down by 1.96 & projected to lose by 1.6 points. 15 minutes later, Sad Dads got a much needed touchdown from Tee Higgins to secure the narrow win. It was honestly a really good matchup but the lack of median win at play hurt the matchup’s notoriety. Sad Dads continue their ascent into relevancy and I would also like to take the blame for that. If you ever think your team needs a kick in the ass just get me to slander them a bit and I guarantee it will be dividends. The only person that hasn’t worked for TPSK. I’ve been saying they suck for like the past 3 weeks and it’s rung true everytime. 7 straight losses. Multiple trades blowing up in their face. It’s just not good right now. Playing for now one week and then the future the next is not the best strategy. Look, I’ve bought into sucking the entire season and we have the same record! And seeing Deebo get moved compared to what they got in return had to be such a dick punch.
The Monday Night Miracle
Another great, down to the wire matchup. Heading into MNF, TVB had quite a hill to climb down 26.31 & projected to lose by about 9. To TVB’s benefit though, they were rolling out Cooper & Boyd while The Spicy Boys were rolling out Andy Dalton cosplaying as a TE, Hayden Hurst. Like the previous game, at 10:30 pm TVB was down by 1.71 and projected to lose by 1.3. However, a 13 yard TD pass late in the 4th to Tyler Boyd helped secure the improbable comeback. A really good game between two teams who are playoff contenders and they both earned median wins. This was a massive win for TVB as they had been on a bit of a slide after losing 4 straight matchups. Things are looking brighter for them going forward as ArSB is now the clear cut #1 option in Detroit and Tyler Boyd’s floor should continue to be playable with Chase out for a bit. The Spicy Boys can’t be too disappointed with the result as they picked the perfect waiver wire QB in Marcus Mariota to help ease their troubles without Mahomes. I have a feeling these two will be playing meaningful (fantasy) football in December.
REPORT: Funkles Beat The Fucking Brakes of They/Them
After a tough week 7, the Funkles took their frustration out on the Trans Cigs. This was just mean. I don’t even have much to say about this matchup. Just a fucking thrashing. And they left points on the fuckin’ bench too. Their very back and a team I simply don’t want to see in the playoffs. They’re the only team who have the fire power to knock off the team who shall not be named. In regards to the TCs. I don’t know man. It’s not good. Courtland Sutton might suck, Pollard is very close to taking over Zeke’s role, CEH is hated for some reason in KC & the man they traded away (Fields) looks like he might be a guy. Tough times at CigDome.
9 Inches Isn’t As Painful As Losing 6 Straight
NIM are very good. And they’ve made good trades. And they’re just a fucking force at the moment. You’d think trading Deebo would hurt, but this week it simply didn’t. Cheeky waiver pickups (albeit maybe overpaying for them), making trades and then flipping those people for even more assets. I am impressed. An anonymous source close to the team knows management to be historically awful. But something must be in the air this year. Special group. Onto CTB, 6 straight losses has knocked them off their perch. Don’t get me wrong, they’re still very fucking good. However maybe not the team that they looked like early on. Lamar is still great but without 50 point games, CTB isn’t the same team. No Ekeler this week was always going to be a problem and to be fair Bateman got fucking hurt almost immediately. They’ll be okay. But they’re a tier 2 team for me.

Sorry this took long and most of you likely won’t read this because the fucking phightens are on. I was busy almost winning the Champions League with Red Bull Salzburg. Was a great run but we let up a 90th minute winner to Lewandowski in the semi-finals. Heartbreaker. Alright enjoy the Phillies but most importantly, COME ON YOU BOYS IN FUCKING BLUE.
